You don't know how long you are permitted to stay in this world - it may be few days, some months or years.
So, we must know our Supreme Calling - every human being should make sincere efforts for realising the Self. To find yourself, is to find God and to find God is to find yourself.
When you die, your earthly pension stops but Divine pension continues for long. So, set aside some time everyday to comtemplation, preferably in early hours of the day - devoted exclusively for Supreme throughout one's life. Embibe this in your nature so well that missing it for a day makes you restless.
Direct expression of Truth based on spiritual realisation through meditation is best. It can come from as simple acts as remembering Divine as frequently as possible throughout the day - for e.g. offering Namaaz 5 times a day.
Do this so intensely that you loose body consciousness and gain access to vast expanses of subtle realm of Consciousness.
Now, when you are over with IT returns, its time to invest in Divine account which is opened forever for you the day you are born and keeps paying interest even when you are gone.
