One of my reader asked "How do you define success?". Then, I realized that before motivating you to achieve success, I should first define what success is.
Success means different things to different people. For some achieving professional excellence may be success and for some, having a pleasnt lasting relationship may be a success.
We can say that:
1. Achieving wealth, fame or power may be success to some.
2. Achieving something planned or intended can also be regarded as success.
But, we should also remember that:
1. Success is not by accident. You have to plan for it and have a buring desire to achieve it.
2. Success is not a destination but a journey. So, when you achieve one success, you get ready for next and so on.
3. Success is an experience.
Earl Nightingale had very beautifully summarized success as:
Success is progressive realization of a worthy goal.
This quote covers all what I have explained in preceeding paragraphs.
