Balancing Act

One way to keep yourself motivated is to have a work-life balance. Your inability to do so can be detrimental to physical and mental health leading to stress, insomnia, depression, diabetes, heart disease, obesity, relationship issues and many more problems.
Here is how to have a balancing act in place:
* Compartmentalize various aspects of life
* Stay focused on one thing at a time
* Don't multitask
* Turn off digital connectivity at least one hour a day
* especially for women, don't quit instead strike a balance between work and family
* Be ambitious but don't neglect your loved ones
* Time is a precious commodity. Use your time doing things that really matter. That way, you will not spend time and energy on doing futile chores and assignments.
* Go slow with lifestyle changes
* At work, don't waste time on activities that don't add values. * Be productive at workplace. This will save you from last minute stress, working late and throwing off your work-life balance.
* Downtime is a must. Spend time with family. Have a dinner out but opt for healthier choices. Go for a stroll or historical walk etc.
